This Privacy Policy explains how Coach Contact Finder (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use the website, create an account, purchase access, contact support, or submit a correction, removal, privacy, or refund request.

Account information

When you register, we collect the name and email address you provide. We also store account status information, such as whether your account has paid access and whether it has administrative privileges.

Password information

We store a one-way cryptographic hash of your password rather than the plain-text password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

Payment and transaction information

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not directly store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, contact information, device information, IP address, fraud signals, and transaction information under Stripe’s own privacy terms. We may receive limited transaction information from Stripe, such as payment status, session identifiers, customer email, amount, date, and product purchased.

Technical and usage information

When you use the Service, our hosting provider and application may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the Service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, requested pages, login attempts, error information, and security or rate-limit events. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or sell personal information for targeted advertising.

Communications and requests

If you email us, request support, ask for a refund, report an error, request account deletion, or submit a correction or removal request, we collect the information included in that communication and any information reasonably needed to evaluate and respond to it.

Directory information

The directory contains professional contact and role information believed to have been made publicly available by schools, athletic departments, staff directories, or other public sources. Directory records may include a person’s name, job title, school, conference, subdivision, publicly listed email address, publicly listed telephone number, source link, source season, and research date.

The Service uses essential session technology to keep users logged in and support account security. Stripe and Render may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their own policies. We do not currently use behavioral advertising cookies.

We retain account information while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, and enforcement. Support, correction, removal, privacy, and refund communications may be retained as needed to document and resolve the request. Technical logs may be retained by us or our providers for operational and security purposes according to provider settings and policies. We may retain de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including password hashing, access controls, server-side authorization, rate limiting, encrypted HTTPS connections provided through our hosting environment, and use of a third-party payment processor. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please identify the account or entry and describe the requested action. We may request reasonable verification before acting. We may retain information when required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. We will evaluate verified requests under applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts or submit personal information. If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without legally sufficient authorization, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Users under 18 should use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

The Service may link to school websites or other third-party services. Stripe, Render, and linked websites have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not control how those third parties collect, use, retain, or disclose information.

The Service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed in those locations, subject to applicable law.
